Sign up, this is very simple, and should take less than 5 minutes.
You can then log in and get access to your secure farawayfish.com account.
Once logged in you have access to 2 areas:

Emails: You can write and save emails to your friends or family.
If you are on the Silver Lining package you can also post date any of your emails up to
10 years in advance.
Remember NO EMAILS get sent out, unless you have died, and ALL the
security checks have been satisfied.

Web Profile: Your web profile area is where you can upload and organise into photos, music
and videos, and write in your blog area, leaving all those pearls of wisdom and favourite memories
for your friends to enjoy. You can also password protect any of your blogs or photos etc. So only
those with the password can access these areas once your web profile is published. Nobody can see
your web profile until you die, in which case we will publish it, (after running through all the
security checks).
Your web profile stays published for anyone to access for 1 year on the free package, or 10 years
for the Silver Lining package. Any of your friends or family may extend the time your profile stays
online, after you have died at a cost of 10 pounds per year.
How do we know if you die?
Once you have signed up and logged into your secure area, you should set up your trusted informers.
You can have between one and three informers, these are the people who will inform us if you die.
All we need is their email address(s) and we will send them full instructions, with a secure link
to an informer area where they input their
username and password to confirm your death. If you have more than 1 informer, we require 2 of them
to confirm your death, in order to fulfill our security checks.
As soon as an informer confirms your death we do 2 things:

Send out a series of warning emails/sms (only Silver Lining package get sms) to you over a period
of 18 days, telling you to log into your account if you are still alive (this automatically stops
the triggering of your account).

Send warning emails to all your informers asking them to confirm your death, or warn you, if you
are still alive, to log in and stop the process.
If all the checks are passed, we will send out your saved emails and publish your web profile. So as
you can see, there is an awful lot of security and checking, to make sure accounts aren’t set off by
accident.
