I am a bird dog. I have no idea what kind, since I have never seen my front end. At least I can see my rear, which is better than a fish can do. A fish can see no other part of his body at all. The reason I know I am a bird dog is because the big guy, the one who feeds me, has on numerous occasions proclaimed to his friends, “Now there is a bird dog!” Being a bird dog involves some strange rituals that, to another species, might sound rather bizarre. As an example, when I was just a pup, the big guy went through a procedure that was weird.
